Electronic Resources

A catalog record will be created for purchased electronic materials.  These records will have the following:

• a material designation in the 245 after the title of $h [electronic resource]
• an 856 field with a link to the electronic version of the resource

Additionally a link to the resource will be added to other library web pages, as appropriate, along with a short description.  For example, subject guides, encyclopedias, etc.

When these materials are no longer available to the Medaille community, and access is no longer available, these records and links should be removed.
