 How to fix a laptop that has a non-functioning touchpad or mousepad

 

  • Hold down the function key (FN) and press F9 (FN+F9)
  • You can also fix this by plugging a mouse into the laptop, go to Start - Control Panel - Mouse and re-enable the touchpad there
