Troubleshooting
-
If you get a program or Windows error, make sure you are logged in as an administrator on the machine you are trying to install the client to
-
If you get a message saying not able to connect to the server go through the following steps
-
open a web browser and verify that the machine you are on has a connection to the internet, if no page comes up then this computer needs to be connected to the internet before trying to use the millenium client, if a page comes up go to the next step
- restart the computer, if this fails to get Millennium working go to the next step
- go to a computer that has Millennium already installed, if you cannot connect to the server from that computer then the server is down
- the domain name for the client may have been entered incorrectly, uninstall the software and reinstall it making sure to use the correct domain name of: mclib.medaille.edu
- try installing an older version of the client software, check to see if a new version of the software is available on the csdirect.iii.com website
